Short version: the calculations run in your browser, and we don't collect the numbers you enter.

What happens to your numbers

Every calculation runs on your device. The figures you enter are not sent to us.
Your inputs are written into the page address so you can bookmark or share a scenario. That means they're in your browser history, and in the address of any link you share. If you'd rather not, don't share the link.
There are no accounts, no forms that send your details anywhere, and this site sets no cookies of its own.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and how pages perform. Cloudflare says it does not use cookies or localStorage to collect usage metrics, does not "fingerprint" individuals, and never sells your data. It also says it collects the minimum amount of information (timing metrics) and does not track individual end users across its customers' sites. We don't use advertising trackers.

Exchange rate (UK pensions calculator only). To show today's pound-to-euro rate, your browser asks the Frankfurter service for the European Central Bank's published rate. Like any web request, this shares your IP address with that service. No figures you enter are sent.
Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any website, our host records standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to run and protect the service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Email. If you write to [email protected], your message is forwarded to us via Cloudflare Email Routing.
Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.

Clicking a partner link takes you to the partner's own website. It may set its own cookies and has its own privacy policy, which we don't control.
We may earn a fee if you go on to buy something. Every such link is labelled, and it never changes a figure (how we make money).
